I’m a Colorful Friend!!

It’s like my lucky month or something! I have received another award!
The Diva presented this to me after she received it from Witchypoo! This is what Laura had to say about me:
“We met quite by chance months ago - through a MEME no less. And since then Teeni has been a peach of a pal and always leaves me comment love. And on the few occaisions that we have chatted on line and emailed, i’ve come to think of her as my Sista-from-another Mista! Seriously, i have a feeling she’s a long lost cousin to my whacky family.”
I am truly honored to receive this award. And I really do feel like a long lost cousin to her whacky family. 
I think Witchypoo described it best by saying:
“To me, it really does represent our community, and the amazing friendships
we gather and hold close to our hearts.”
Then the Diva added
“Everyone all over the world - connecting over the web, forging relationships - some of which have turned into face-to-face honest to goodness friendships!! I love this award, Thank YOU!!”
And because of what it represents, I have to echo the Diva’s sentiments - I DO love this award. I’ve really grown attached to a lot of you who I’ve never met and have no idea what you look like. But I’d like to call out a few of you to share this with. I consider the lot of you my friends. You’ve all been so nice to me and are lots of fun here in the blogiverse. There are always circles of people that you feel closest to that revolve around and change with time. But right now the following people are the ones I felt really close to lately and would like to share this award with. If you don’t get the award it doesn’t mean I like you any less than anyone else. It’s just at different times in your life you feel closer to different people. Who knows? You may be my best buddy in the world tomorrow and you may regret it! LOL. And if you didn’t get this award this time, maybe now is a good time to go back a few posts here and retrieve your other friendship award that I gave to each one of you! You all deserve it! Many thanks to all of my friends.

Mike - for making me start an interest in Civil War History, being honest, forthright, and helpful since I’ve known you. I’m enjoying seeing things through you and I also love seeing your lovely photos - those don’t hurt either! Hugs to you buddy.
Opal - for helping, encouraging, entertaining, sharing, and learning. I’ve experienced a lot of things because of you. There’s too much to write but you know what I mean.
Red - for late night chats, games of Scrabble, and thinking nice things about me, when I’m not necessarily thinking them of myself. Hugs to you my friend.
WriterChick - I’ve known you the least of all of the above but somehow I feel a click with you. You let me in - I didn’t have to beg or grovel or be a certain color, race, religion, type of food eater. You just let me in as a friend and I appreciate it. Thanks so much, friend!

I have so many wonderful blogging buddies like you Hannah. It makes it so hard for me to pass on these awards. I really do feel this revolving circle where I’m just closer to certain people at certain times but I love you all so much. I want to give the awards to everyone but I don’t want to cheapen them or make others think the awards mean less by doing so. Well, as long as you all know I care about you.

Teeni- I agree with Diva, you are a “peach of a pal” and are so generous in sharing “comment love”! I’m also really thankful for the community that blogging creates. My mom just said yesterday that everyone leaves supportive and nice comments on your blog and mine. You have so many wonderful friends because you are a friend to them, and you are encouraging and thoughtful. I treasure our friendship and am so thankful we met this year! I look forward to knowing you for years to come teeni! Thank you for sharing this friendship award with me too, I value most that it comes from you. I’m giving you a big hug.
