I’m as Sweet as Candy

I got a sweet candy award. Hay over at The Secret Life of Us, gave it to me. I was trying to hang onto it, but it looks so good I’m afraid I’m going to eat it. So I better hurry and share it with you all! LOL. Here is how Hay described me:
“Teeni, who is so sweet and generous and always shares the bloggy love. And she’s funny too…is there a funny award*?”
So I’m going to share the bloggy love and this delicious looking award. But first, credit must go to the creator of the award, Xandra at Called According to His Purpose. She created the award to go to blogs that she must read every day, the ones “you can’t possibly live without. They make you laugh, cry, think, and feel connected every time you read a post…and you get an equally satisfying thrill when you see they (the bloggers) have commented on your blog.”
So okay, the award really isn’t about candy but about the blogs we just love to read each day. And to keep with the original intent of this award, I will pass this on to some of the blog owners who I love to read every day and when they don’t post every day I still wish they would (but no pressure), and they are also the commenters who I love to see. Of course, I would award this to everyone if I could since I have you all in my reader anyway so you know I try to read you all everyday, but that can be physically impossible so I will try to pick from some of my newer friends/reads.
Without further ado, this award goes to:
AntiBarbie - Her stories and poems are so thought provoking and well written, that sometimes it’s scary. But I think she plans it that way and I look forward to new posts/comments from her all the time.
Kate - She is a sweet person and has the most fabulously beautiful posts because of her garden/floral photos and her writing style. When I go to her site I always wish I had brought her some candy!
Red - I can’t get enough of this lady. She has shock value, writing, humor, and a heart of gold, all rolled up in her posts/comments. I wish she could post more so I could read more.
Romi41 -This girl’s posts are extremely addictive. She’s funny and honest and forthright and as with Red, I wish she could post more so I could read more.
WriterChick - Another great writer with great emotion and great humor. I get disappointed when I see no new posts from her.
I hope this doesn’t stress you out, ladies. I don’t really expect you to be able to post more just to please me. LOL. But you should know that you always leave me wanting more. Now take your sweet award and treasure it and share it with the bloggers who YOU couldn’t do without.

Me too! I resisted the urge and got to share with my buddies and that is way better than having a stomach ache. LOL. Oh, THAT’s how we got together. Yes, she is incredible, isn’t she? Thanks for checking the other recipients. It may be hard for you not to fall in love with them like I did though so don’t say I didn’t warn you!

Romi - your posts are awesome - they really are thought provoking whether you realize it or not and what always amazes me is how you can write about some truly embarrassing moments with such a good sense of humor. I have the utmost respect for you and just think you are a much bigger person than I when it comes to things like that. You inspire me to try not to worry about the past so much and hopefully it will help make me a better person in the future.
