I’m Less Than Three’d
Posted on April 9, 2008 - Filed Under Award
Wow - another award! This one is from Witchypoo! Sheesh. I’m so very honored and flattered.
Seriously, I think it is reward enough that you are my buddies and then you go and give me AWARDS on top of that? Too kind, really. But I’ll take it! This one is a really cute one, too.
For those of you who are slow (like I was when I first saw and tried to decipher this thing), the “<3″ is actually a heart on its side. So yes, it actually reads I *heart* your blog, so it is a GOOD award, trust me! ![]()
I’m going to save this until the next occasional Teeni awards, of course, where I can re-gift it to more of my favorite blog buddies (yes, this probably means you! ![]()
Thanks again, Witchypoo! This award means means a lot to me. I will pass it on to worthy bloggers very soon.

Welk you! I heart you too.
You are so kind.
And I think I’m finally now all caught up on memes and awards. Now I can concentrate once again on getting my new site moving! LOL
Congrats!! I “less-than-three” your blog too!
I have to plead cyber ignorance here and say I always thought that was a kissing mouth!! Like saying you love something enough to kiss it. The “3″ does look a bit like puckered-up lips, doesn’t it?! I know, I’m odd!!!
Now I can be “cool” and know the REAL meaning.
LOL. I never saw it that way but now that you mention it, it does look like puckered up lips! I am thinking this <3 thing must have come about from all the texting these days. But once I saw the heart on its side, I realized it was like typing our happy faces on the side with a colon and a parenthesis. Always learning stuff over here at the Tea Room. I never said it would be important stuff, but it’s still learning! LOL. And thanks for loving my blog. You know I <3 yours too!
less than 3… i love it!
LOL. Thanks Slyde. I’ve been <3-ing your blog too!
Funny, I always thought it was a mooning garden gnome.

Ha! I was totally to slow to get it…. Thanks for explaining it!
Congrats on the award too!
LOL. Thanks, Talina! I like to share what little knowledge I have.
Congratulations on the award!
and thanks for dropping by
And you are welcome to drop in here any time as well.
Thanks Setu! And it was my pleasure. Good reads at your place!
It took me months to figure out that <3 was a heart. Congratulations on your award. Anyway I am actually drinking tea. I always drink herbal tea. I am drinking a combination of herbs to ward off colds which two people in the house have and I don’t want to share that with them.
I’m so glad I wasn’t alone in trying to figure that out about the heart! LOL. I have some nice herbal teas myself and I have switched to only decaf. So what is your secret herb for warding off colds? Echinacea? That’s the only one I can think of right now that might help.
I am one of the slow ones that couldnt figure that out lol! congrats!
Welcome to the club, Kaylee!
Wait herbs can ward off colds????? Ummmmmm I need the nurse to now give me some of that tea LOL!
I owned a health food store and sold herbs and vitamins for 25 years, so I got a good chance to see what works and what doesn’t for colds. My favorite herb for a cold is elderberry. It’s actually an elderberry syrup that I use for colds by a company called Nature’s Way. The product itself is called Sambucol Immune system. I never found that echinacea worked that well for me. Zinc lozenges help too. The tea I was drinking was a combo of elderberry, mulleine (good for chest colds) and it did have some echinacea in it. Most herbal teas are caffeine free but there are definitely some that have natural caffeine like yerba mate, guarana and green tea, though you can get a version of green tea that is decaf.I don’t have formal herbal training but I do know a lot about healing herbs, vitamins and minerals. I also know there is a lot of crap out there that isn’t worth the money they charge you for it.
Oooh - I had a drink syrup once that was from Sweden and had elderberry flowers in it. Or it was elderberry flower water - something like that. Tasty stuff. I’m surprised - I never knew it had anti-cold properties. That is neat. I think I can learn lots from you! I also agree with you that there is a lot of crap out there that isn’t worth the money.
Lol, yep that took me a while to get, thanks for explaining! Well deserved Teeni! PS I love your cat
Thanks, Hay! Glad to see you out and about!
Hi Teeni!
Thanks for giving me your blog link. I love that you’re a cat person too. There can never be too many cat lovers, can there?
I <3 your blog too. (that’s the first time I’ve every typed <3. Had to hunt for the < symbol on my keyboard). Heh.
Hey Sista! Welcome to my happy place! LOL. Glad to see you and yeah - that whole <3 thing is new to me too. Thanks for coming by - you are always welcome.
awwww, thanks. See? there is tons of blog love to go around…..
LOL
Wrong email addy. I think I fixed it. Thanks for pm’ing me.
Have a great day!
LOL. That’s good because if you comment on anyone else’s blogs, some people like to respond by email rather than on the comments like I do.
want to hear something funny? I developed a group for teen girls at work,a nd it’s about healthy relationships. I decided to call it <3 (HEART)… well service people around chatham and even the staff at work couldn’t figure out what it meant, and for the longest time, everyone was calling my group…
LESS THAN THREE.
hehe.
Oh goodness - that is too funny. I guess I would have resorted to that too if I hadn’t figured it out. I think the only reason I figured it out is because of the sideways smilies!
BTW - I think that was a wonderful group for you to start up!
Aw, congrats, Teens - tre’s cute.
Annie
